Some exciting tools and features being cooked up for the initial alpha release, geared towards showcasing the unique power and capabilities that Phalanx has to offer.
"What makes you different from all the other async PHP frameworks out there?"... these are dedicated to you.
...phalanx/openswoole held up against heavy load', or 'ratatui-inspired tui library that allowed rapid prototyping and development in the way PHP is built for'? The decision has landed on the latter.. and it's going extremely well! More TBA
Great things in the works this weekend. As with any quasi-serious framework, "proving one's claim's" should always be front-of-mind. The 'managed concurrency' approach phalanx was built on has been the focus, and now it's evolved into a robust, ledger-based kernel....
Phalanx is now testing the idea of running Openswoole after all. Initially written in ReactPHP/AmPHP (to keep things simple), it's now decided to put Phalanx's design to the test, and see where it goes. Simplicity still matters...a lot. Time will tell. Alpha libs forthcoming
Testing with @openswoole as the async engine is looking gr8 so far within the core of @Phalanxphp . Phalanx's novel design & disciplined approach to 'managed async' have proven to work very well w/async PHP -- though it's a lang agnostic idea. Looking forward to sharing more soon
