I am absolutely appalled by the new children's book, Brilliant Black British History, claiming that Stonehenge was built when Britain was a black country. This is not only historically inaccurate, but also perpetuates a harmful and false narrative. Britain has NEVER been a black country. To suggest otherwise is not only insulting, but also erases the rich and diverse history of this land. As a British citizen, I am deeply disappointed in this blatant disregard for the truth. Let's educate our children with facts, not fiction.
@PaulKirkby3 Don’t worry it’s in the ‘fiction’ section of the bookshops!
@PaulKirkby3 @jaycee1001 The problem with this is if black people built everything and invented everything in the UK how come slavery occurred? Who owned the English parts of Africa if the UK was peopled by black people.
@PaulKirkby3 The strange thing is that the people who document this drivel must know it's absolutely false.
@PaulKirkby3 I'm not being woke or anti-British by saying this, but the DNA evidence from remains found shows that the earliest settlers did have darker skin and sub-Saharan features. Then they evolved, and the multiple waves of immigration changed this. Much of the book is factually right.
@PaulKirkby3 Either way, like everything else...It was built by immigrants.
