Our disabled family is being evicted in 30 days as retribution for witnessing the landlord's worker fall off a ladder & spill paint on my car! $4,200 needed to move, TY! CA: cash.app/$patbruck Paypal: paypal.me/pbruck GoFundMe: gofund.me/22a6d6b6 Venmo: @ pbruck
More images of the car, landlord tried spraying it with the neighbors' hose. Helped some in front maybe, but the sides and back are worse due to him smearing it. Also - he was busy spraying my car off instead of helping the older worker holding his leg in middle of the road!
This is how our landlord responded. Saying my vehicle was cheap & implying that if I don't let him away with damaging it that he will hold it against us. Implicit threat.
Update: images of the landlord's damage to my car. He just sent us mail from an abandoned warehouse address for the eviction at end of January. Says he doesn't have to obey 60 day rules as he owns 6+ properties & is exempt. Meanwhile looks like he keyed my car how bad it is now.
@PatrickSBruck Patrick, have you tried connecting with a pro Bono attorney?
@PatrickSBruck Patrick, call your car insurance company immediately. File a claim. They will sue your landlord. He is liable. He has insurance on the house and anyone who Is injured while working on his house or anything ruined because of the house repair is his responsibility.
@PatrickSBruck There are state and federal laws that are supposed to protect you and your family. Here is what I found for your state: LAWS PROVIDING HOUSING PROTECTIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES mih-inc.org/housing-info/l… I think it’s worth contacting them.
