Good morning beautiful people.. I just put together a handsome parlay picking every game today… I don’t think I could name a player on any team but Texas. It’s that type of stupidity that will be described as brilliant if this +2100 bet hits… I always love to be reminded that in results oriented businesses. Your legacy lives and dies with every outcome. On that note.. I’ve been getting a TON of hate from Packers fans... I thought I’ve been a pretty solid ally and assisted in, what did Skip Bayless and FS1 call it? “Unprecedented” content for a few years now but, it has certainly 180’d quickly… couple of days to be exact… I do understand why, and I actually respect it.. Packers fans are LOYAL. I’ve pointed out some stuff that I, “just a punter with a tiring schtick,” VERY MUCH believe to be true.. I do believe there is an absence of leverage in this trade situation for the Packers and I do genuinely wonder if Gutekunst has proved he’s a good GM.. BUT.. just like the “I have no idea who the hell these student human athletes that I’m betting on are” parlay, this is a results oriented business.. I could be proved VERY wrong… I did see a few PHENOMENAL Packers reporters and bloggers, who have literally copy and pasted my show for 2-3 days a week of every season the last 3 years (all good 🤙🏼), tell their readers and followers “The Packers don’t have to trade Aaron”... We all know, and maybe the Jets GM didn’t see it or hear it, that Mark Murphy has already said~> “Yeah, I mean unless, if things DON’T WORKOUT THE WAY WE WANT THEM, yeah, we would (start Aaron)”… and Mark Murphy has also said that “Aaron HAD a great career here” and Gute and Mark Murphy have yet to get an opportunity to see if their guy, their 1st round drafted QB can be the next face of the franchise and his rookie contract is quickly dissipating.. but yes.. certainly don’t HAVE to trade him. I concur. I’m sure that bygones would be bygones if Aaron returned as the starter, because once again, you don’t HAVE to trade him.. I guess they could also have the 4x MVP be Jordan Love’s backup for the next couple of years.. Aaron would obviously go DAHN as the most expensive backup in the history of sports and that might hurt the cap a bit but, don’t HAVE to trade him.. I guess they could also “force him to retire” as some folks have told me… I’m not sure the Packers control that AT ALL… BUT.. Results oriented business. I could be completely wrong. Just like when we pointed out the lack of an indoor facility at a place.. or shitty facilities at a place in the desert (I guess it kindof has become a part of my “schtick,”) I am actually going to bat for the fans of the organizations when I’m doing as such.. I’m just calling out bullllllshit, how I see it of course. I, since day 1, sincerely hope Jordan Love is a DAWG.. this is not his fault at all.. we all realize what the next chapter is for all parties (which also minimizes leverage) and I hope every player involved has immense success. Cheers. Let’s win some bets today. (Pictured below is Aaron’s contract that Gutekunst negotiated AFTER trading up to draft a QB in the 1st round immediately after losing in the NFC Championship.. Cap Hit is a fun one to look at.. don’t HAVE to trade Aaron I guess.. Shahtaht @spotrac)
@PatMcAfeeShow Pat woke up and had time today🔥
@PatMcAfeeShow ON THEM VITAMINS HEAVY AND THAT THUMB GOT TO TYPING THIS MORNING PATTY!
@PatMcAfeeShow Episode V: The Pack Strikes Back
@PatMcAfeeShow No mention of saying Joe Douglas has proven to be a smart GM (20-46, drafted Zach Wilson 2nd overall, on the brink of getting canned last year), but Gute hasn’t. Also nothing here on what happens if the Jets don’t get their guy, which is the premise of Packers’ fans argument.
@PatMcAfeeShow Pat, could you expand on how the Packers aren’t treating vets right, with examples of how other teams in the league do it better? NE was praised for getting rid of a guy “a year too early” for 2 decades. Did they give them a Duncan gift card on the way out so it was cool?
