Scrapped pitch for Sting's retirement saw Ric Flair be more involved and possibly turn on Sting: "He desperately wanted to turn on Sting. ‘Conrad, will you go talk to Tony? You’re friends with him, just go talk to him’ and I’m like ‘what are you talking about? ‘Just go and talk to him, try to convince him, me turning on Sting is best for business.' I go ‘Ric you work here, you’re in the storyline, I think maybe you should tell him.'” - Conrad Thompson (What Happened When?)
@Cultaholic The only way a Flair turn works, is if Sting sees it coming and stops Ric before he does anything lol. That could have been fun.
@MysticMacht @Cultaholic I thought the same thing, FINALLY after his whole career falling for it, Sting doesn’t fall for Ric Flair turning on him lol.
