Using AI for IRL is so much more fun than doing it for business. Recently bought a JDM car that I'm on restomodding. Except its extremely hard to find parts in the states. Vibe coded a script to search all the Japanese websites for what I'm looking for. Runs every morning, scrapes 10 different websites, gives me updates on listings and converts the Yen to USD. Something that could easily take me 60-90 minutes daily. Now done with a single prompt. We're so early.

New LSA changes coming to Google Ads starting next month. They are going to start streamlining the campaign into the back end of PPC accounts. You'll still pay per lead. But now you now will have PPC settings to work with rather than your basic LSA ones that you currently have. Same same but different.

The most painful part of paid ads is the testing phase. If you're starting a new channel there's always that 30-90 day period where there's going to be a lot of testing going on. Anticipate anywhere from 30-60%+ of your budget to go to testing. Data is the game here. New angles New landing pages Different KW Different demographics The list goes on and on Kill the losers quickly and start rebalancing the budgets to the proven winners. Don't be afraid of testing. Trust your media buyer and the process. They'll take you to where you need to go.

AI won't replace great media buyers. Most people get this wrong. It turns one into ten. They try to automate the entire job, but an automation is only as good as the person who set it up. If you've never actually run the accounts yourself, your prompts are too generic and the whole thing falls apart. I've spent years running Google Ads. So instead of replacing that experience, I feed it into the AI. It audits accounts, finds angles I might've missed, and catches things buried in thousands of data points that no human eye is ever going to spot. + So much more sauce I can't talk about. @JaredDHardin Do it! Recently bought an older car to restore and play with. Calling it my mid life crisis and happy I did it. Older cars are a lot easier to work on too. They don't make them like they used to.

Your Meta ads take 10 campaigns with 26 creatives each to spend $3k a day. My Google Ads takes 2 campaigns and 6 different ad copies to do the same thing but with better results.

Talked to a repair shop owner yesterday that was getting robbed by his marketing guy. Being charged 5% of TOTAL revenue generated with 0 attribution metrics. Runs SEO and PPC. Checked the PPC account. 1 Campaign - 30 conversions - 13 of them came from his own branded keywords. Avg $60-100k month revenue. You can do the math. Talk about getting bent over without any lube.

One of the harder things to do when running paid ads is out lasting your sales cycle. Even I'm guilty of this trap. You run your ads, gets leads, and then things feel like the die off so you lower budgets. Or even worse, pause your ads all together. 60 days later the sales start to trickle in and your ROAS looks amazing again. So now you'll want to turn things back on except everything has to go through that 1-3 week learning period again. Vicious cycle.

Got alpha access for PMAX campaigns. Testing what it looks like turning off the search partners and display network. So far, it's killed spend and increased lead costs. Quality is higher doesn't necessarily = more revenue. Monitoring this on 2 accounts to see how it preforms.
