@PMatTVCC 👇🏼 Thank you for accompanying our parents/guardians! No one has to walk alone. (See this image.)
Good morning @helen_laverty just preparing a presentation about working with families and found this gem you shared a couple of years ago think it tells a parental perspective beautifully. Would you be happy for me to use it and credit you?
6) Premier François Legault acknowledged this week the reopening of schools will lead to more #COVID19 cases. But he has stopped short of having air purifiers installed in them, instituting widespread testing or offering online distance learning to those parents who want it.
4) Dr. Mylène Drouin, the director of Montreal’s public health department, noted that there are currently 23 school outbreaks and 35 in daycares in the city. She revealed that a major #COVID19 outbreak has flared up in a university residence.
The pandemic continues to highlight the inequity for people with disabilities. If schools are not safe, why are some people in buildings while others are not. Thanks @HeatheratLFP for the story lfpress.com/news/local-new…

Today I told my students how much I appreciate them and how proud I am of them, and how I can’t wait to see them in-person. After about 3-minutes of pouring my heart out, one of my students unmuted himself and said, “Mr. Ferroni, we can’t hear you — you’re muted!”

Reminder: Don't assign projects over the Christmas break to your students. Each student has a different home/life dynamic. These holidays should be spent resting and taking care of our mental health. It's been a rough 2020.
