@AyJayL As a final thought, we can disagree over this specific incident but over the course of 38 match weeks I'm confident it'll level out. Subjective decisions can vary but ultimately if you're a good ref, it'll show. If you're below the standard, it'll show. That's all I want to see.

@AyJayL Of course I'm Arsenal-biased, but I did evaluate these incidents as neutrally as I could. These are ultimately subjective decisions so people are naturally going to disagree. I even said it was a mistake that Saliba's one wasn't given a red on-field.

@AyJayL A lot has been said about "having control of the ball", too, which neither Evanilson nor Jota have. The ball is mid-air for both. I genuinely can't wrap my head around the logic for this talking point.

@AyJayL As for flight of the ball even Dermot Gallagher spoke about the ball "going to the corner flag", which I think is utter nonsense. Yes, it's not as central as Bournemouth's one, but the ball basically holds up 10-15 yards further forward from the foul, a good 35 yards from goal.

@AyJayL Personally I think both are reds. In my opinion the Chelsea one is worse because the proximity to the next defender, yes, is closer in terms of pure yards but he's also behind the player. White is further away but is also horizontal to the play. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
