Pakistan Dravid Alliance's @PItehad Efforts Succeed: Married Hindu Woman Kanno Kolhi Recovered After Alleged Abduction, Forced Religious Conversion, and Forced Marriage As a result of the continuous efforts, legal struggle, and coordination with relevant institutions by the Pakistan Dravid Alliance, Kanno Kolhi, a married Hindu woman from Samaro who was allegedly abducted, forcibly converted to another religion, and forced into marriage about a month ago, has been recovered. According to the survivor's statement, she was sleeping alone at her home during the night when Ghulam Rasool Chandio, Laxhman Kolhi, and several other individuals allegedly entered her house at gunpoint and forcibly abducted her. She stated that she was later taken to a religious shrine near Samaro, where she was allegedly forced to convert her religion and subjected to a forced marriage. She further alleged that she was repeatedly subjected to sexual assault during her captivity.
