10-20 years ago a trip to Best Buy was almost an event, where you'd see the coolest technology, amazing home stereo systems, and seemingly endless shelves of movies, music and games. Lately, these places just feel like dying K-Marts. Sparse. Open packages. Empty shelves. Junk.
it's so wild thinking back on when Best Buy was primarily a record store. at least 65% of the floorspace was dedicated to CDs, with another 10-15% is just DVDs, and half of that was anime.

#NowWatching Johnny Dangerously (1984) Alright, last of the Keaton comedies I haven't seen. This one's worrying for entirely different reasons than the first two and their possibility of having aged poorly. No, the big worry here for me is... Joe Piscopo is in it.
I don't care who this offends. Family vlog channels should be illegal. Children can't consent to having their privacy invaded and their lives put online (or on television) for the world to see. There's no actor's union to protect them (not that they do, see Nickelodeon scandal)
The 3 Body Problem: the plot: "Holy Shit! Super advanced aliens are coming to kill us!" The (so-called) protagonists: "Ewww...we're at war!? I'm not gonna do anything icky! We're scientists! We're above that."
