Rachel Maddow just blew me away. I have tears in my eyes. They are tears borne of hope and respect. Her 25- minute segment that concluded with her imploring NBC to reverse its decision to hire Ronna McDaniel, and to admit it was a wrong call OUT OF STRENGTH, was as good a segment as I have ever witnessed. Ever.
It was not only brilliant oratory, but it was also incredibly important. I tweeted earlier about being moved by Joy Reid and guests, and I was. This speech - again, it was a 25-minute segment - this was an all-timer.
@OurShallowState First two minutes: “The guy that will most probably win the election”. She lost me there.
@OurShallowState Yep, you folks really need to be protected from differing points of view!! Poor things. What about MSNBC hiring Jen Psaki and giving her a show? Oh, …that’s fine because you agree with her POV. Why are you so terrified by a different opinion?
@OurShallowState @jrpsaki made a concise and powerful point on the subject on her own show ⬇️

@OurShallowState Bravo Rachel!!! She was absolutely brilliant! Such a moral clarity.
@OurShallowState She was fantastic. Can’t wait to see was Lawrence does and I bet Ronna doesn’t make it through the week.
@OurShallowState Rachel is not wrong. Not exaggerating. I cannot believe a bonafide traitor, serial criminal, who thrives on bigotry, racism & pure hate, is even on our presidential ballot. Our judiciary is dirty. He has loyalists in every branch of our government . Underestimate? Never!
@OurShallowState The most prepared, the most respected, the most everything!
