@PHB67168788 @PeakFinInv One issue with salt caverns that do not use brine to displace the oil, i.e. fresh water instead, is that each cycle enlarges the cavern by disolving more of the salt. As the cavern increases in size it eventually weakens its structure. If continued indefinitely the caverns fail.

@InTheAssembly How exactly are they going to solve the heat transfer problem in a vacuum? How are they going to capture all that 'free' solar on the sunny side and disapate the heat gain that will occur on the surface of the capsule that is in the sun? The engineering issues are significant.

@geekopediax @JavierBlas Natural gas would disagree with you in Europe and Asian markets. North American market is more or less a closed system aside for the 18-20 bcfd that we export as LNG. We are maxed out on our LNG facilities so its supply and demand in North America.
