LRU Cache 🚀 Today I practiced implementing an LRU (Least Recently Used) Cache in JavaScript using Map. Key takeaways: • get() returns the value and marks the key as recently used • put() inserts or updates a key-value pair • Delete + reinsert moves a key to the most recent position • Map.keys().next().value gives the least recently used key • When capacity is exceeded, the least recently used key is removed • get() and put() run in O(1) average time 💡 A useful insight: JavaScript Map preserves insertion order, which makes it possible to implement an LRU Cache without manually maintaining a linked list. @akshaymarch7 @namastedev_ #JavaScript #DSA #LRUCache #DataStructures #ProblemSolving #LearningInPublic
