My friends, my veterans, my countryfolk — today we stand not in armour, but in purpose. Saint George’s Day calls us to remember that courage is not the absence of fear, but the mastery of it — the steady hand upon the oar when the river runs dark.
Last day of preparation before we depart
To paddle… or not to paddle… A question that never truly troubled us, for the river calls, and we — stubborn souls that we are — must answer. For what is a journey such as this, if not a mirror held to our own purpose? A swan of plastic grace, a river winding — to act.
