When you see a Warner Bros title (and one not even a decade old) licensed to a boutique label, and suddenly you get your hopes up... (no, I legit don't know anything at the moment, lol)
One of the more obscure Golden Harvest films I've worked on the blu-ray for, this was a fun "modern in the 70s" action film that lets Chan Sing do what he does best, and gives the lead role to Shin Il-ryong, the jacked villain from To Kill With Intrigue 😅

@EpicFilmGuys I recall this was the first time the home video window for a major blockbuster movie like this was only 4 months after theatrical release (usually 6+ months). Batman was still playing at one of the local movie theaters right up to the home video release.
@AnthonyJVargas It came out in late November. Less than 6 months after it had initially been released in theaters.
@OldPangYau OK to be fair, Lionheart is may be better than On Deadly Ground. Maybe. And maybe Timecop. But still, it's better than Gone with the Wind. And that's amazing about Dwight Little
It’s a long shot, but I hope they release the extended cuts of the Lethal Weapon movies. In 4K. With tons of vintage and new special features. And reversible covers with newly commissioned artwork. In individual cases, in a sturdy slip box.

@shanekse85 @88_Films Boxer From Shantung was already in one of the Arrow box sets I think, so probably not going to happen.
@sapphicgiallo @88_Films Savage 5 has had a (still very affordable) Region B standalone, and I think was in Shout's David Chiang/Ti Lung box. Killer Constable already released by 88, so maybe not unless they do a Region A release. Those others would be amazing though, especially Avenging Eagle!
Here's my outlandish, uninformed hot take for the day: Out for Justice is the best B action/thriller of the early '90s (and I would be so bold as to extend that into the late '80s). Exclusions from this argument: HK cinema and genre hybrids like sci fi-action.
@88_Films are teasing more Shaw Brothers releases. What would your top choices be? I'm after Black Tavern, Demon of the Lute, Hong Kong Rhapsody/Nocturne, Magic Blade, Curse of Evil, Imperial Swordsman, but some of those are maybe wishful thinking. Oh, and Tiger Boy, why not.

I forgot that the City Hunter movie hit Netflix. Very interested in it, since I love the original anime and manga (and the Jackie Chan movie). Hoping this could lead to more City Hunter projects, and maybe stuff like the French movie from a while back getting a subbed release.
