🚨 CyberLeek "GTA" Malware Propagation Anatomy | 24 Hours of Activity Over the past 24 hours, the infrastructure associated with CyberLeek has shown rapid expansion through new domains, subdomains, wildcard certificates, and deployments on services such as Cloudflare Pages and Workers. This is not about the presence of the original "actor" itself, but rather secondary actors seeking to capitalize on the trend to spread malware and demand payment in exchange for game executables. Observed activity includes 65 infrastructure/certificate entries, featuring assets such as: cyberleek[.]click cyberleek[.]cc cyberleek[.]pro cyberleek[.]online cyberleek[.]space cyberleek[.]top cyberleek[.]workers[.]dev cyberleek-71n[.]pages[.]dev The campaign's anatomy reveals a model designed for rapid propagation and constant infrastructure rotation: GTA VI lure → disposable domain → fake landing page → visitor fingerprinting → geolocation → telemetry via Telegram → click tracking → ZIP download → manual execution by the victim The lure relies on a purported leaked version of GTA VI—marketed as the "Full Leaked Version" and "100% Safe"—distributed via a so-called "CyberLeek Launcher." The observed file is: 📦 CyberLeekLuncher(.)zip The page also collects visitor information before the file is even executed, including: Public IP User-Agent Language Screen resolution Visited URL Referrer Timestamp Approximate city, region, and country The JavaScript utilizes external services to retrieve and enrich this data, subsequently generating events such as: NEW VISITOR DOWNLOAD CLICK ...which are sent via the Telegram Bot API to infrastructure controlled by the operators. Another key point is the separation between the infrastructure used to attract victims and that used to deliver the file: Landing domains → cyberleek[.]info → /up/CyberLeekLuncher(.)zip This means a blocked domain can be quickly replaced while the delivery infrastructure remains active. The emergence of multiple TLDs, wildcard certificates, and pages.dev/workers.dev nodes within a few hours reflects a domain rotation/infrastructure churn model, increasing the campaign's resilience and making it difficult to disrupt by blocking a single domain. ⚠️ The source code confirms the distribution, fingerprinting, and telemetry architecture; however, identifying the exact malware family within CyberLeekLuncher(.)zip requires independent static and dynamic analysis of the sample. CyberLeek should no longer be viewed merely as a domain. The current pattern more closely resembles a propagation ecosystem comprising core infrastructure, mirrors, and secondary actors that amplify distribution.
