The greatest single piece of advice that I’ve ever gotten as a writer was from @neilhimself. He replied to a tweet of mine rather unexpected about how someone like me (severe ADHD with the attention span of a toddler) could stay committed to lengthier projects (books, features, etc.) He simply told me: “take it one word at a time. Once you finish one, write another.” I used that piece of advice to write a near-complete fantasy novel, finish my first feature, and start my current WIP (another feature). So, I just want to say thank you to @neilhimself for being there for a fellow writer and for the incredible advice. To all writers struggling, reach out to your fellows within the #WritingCommunity. No one can do it alone. We’re all in this together.
