@irbezek @valuedrift House prices in Colombia are very unpredictable. I built a house in a very desirable location in Santander and I watch prices around the surrounding area, it’s all over the place and not consistent. Ultimately people don’t pay no where near what the houses list for.

@JakeNomada Pasto is a sleepy but very nice city with some modern infrastructure . I found that towns near by and Pasto are very clean compared to anything north.

The future of coffee in Colombia looks grim….high quality “specialty coffee” appears to be the only way forward to stay afloat. 80+ points on the @SpecialtyCoffee scale is very achievable with almost any variety with a quality first mindset.

De pulping coffee, this is where we remove the flesh/skin of the coffee and this releases 2 coffee beans that are covered in a slimy mucilage that are ready to be processed.

New coffee flowers. In Colombia after every good rain, we get more flowers, more flowers equals more fruit. 🍒 The smell is amazing, if the fruit didn’t have the value it has, I’m sure people would extract the oil for scents.
