They are different tools, so it depends on what works for you. It can also be that you end up using both. Other World Mapper is vector based and runs on your PC rather than be on the web. Those are two pretty big differences. It's also a one-time purchase rather than subscription.
@thievesguildbiz Sorry, we didn't see this reply before!! It is simple. You'd just set the grid dimensions to match your minis' scale and then just print the map or export to send to a printer shop :)
One last thing, I converted the Greek Letters, 1-9, A-Z buttons to be used as legend markers in Wonderdraft and Other World Mapper. cartographyassets.com/assets/41737/a…
@JamusStroup Thank you for the question! What did you use to develop it? Other World Mapper lets you import shapefile and svg data, but if it's an image, you can also set it as the canvas background and use our tools to "trace" it.

@SangheiliMama It's a one-time purchase desktop program. Like old school software, once you buy It's yours 😁 (no subscriptions, fees, online stuff, etc).

@Sir_ParadoxTtRP We originally wanted to. It's just been hard for an indie team to support 3 platforms already. We'll revisit this next year.

It does! It also lets you transform your map to different projections (while keeping it as vector data) 😁
Did YOU know you can just like... open shapefiles in Other World Mapper? Some fantasy map programs let you stamp things. Others enable you to do stuff like this. I need more projections!
