While the Scottish Child Payment and other measures are making a significant difference, the statistics today show that urgent action is needed to ensure🏴can meet the interim child poverty targets & better support children and families facing the devastating effects of poverty.

Today’s poverty stats were another stark reminder of the higher risk of poverty for single parents, the vast majority of whom are women. Building a Scotland free from the injustice of poverty requires us to embed the needs of single parents in our service design & policymaking
