Last week I met some of our amazing team members from the Philippines! 🇵🇭 7 years ago, when starting my company I never planned to meet team members in person. I never even turned on my camera in calls! As an 18 year old, I felt too self-conscious of my age as a leader. Now that’s changed. Video calls are mandatory in the company, and even better… we sometimes meet in person! We had a great time connecting personally, professionally, and even a fun game of laser tag! (my request) This is a group from our 100+ person international team 🌎. I look forward to connecting with more team members in the future! So far we’ve done meet ups in Peru, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Here’s to the exciting journey ahead for Telos Media. 🚀
Hiring your first 1-3 YouTube team employees? Here's my advice after hiring 100+ people: (if you're feeling stuck about where to start)
Creators are getting fooled... It's time for reflection (1m23s)
I'm excited to announce that I have taken on a new role as the Creative Director for the Mr. Spherical online series at @NowCreatives! I can't wait to contribute my creative vision to this exciting project! #CreativeDirector #NowCreatives #MrSpherical
I just gained 30k subscribers in a week (no Shorts). It wasn't easy but I learned a lot. Here's 4 main takeaways for anyone looking to grow on YouTube:
The key to creator success isn't doing more. It's delegating better. Here’s what I’ve learned from building YouTube channels with 50 team members + studying CEOs: [1/8]
We grew from 0 to 500k subscribers in 4.5 months without Shorts. Here’s the biggest takeaway: An animation series with character building can work on YouTube. Who would have thought?
@CreatorPodcasts Received the same message via LinkedIn... :)
OK, YouTube just announced very huge news for people in my world....they are going to start monetizing shorts and sharing the revenue and everyone (including, in some comms /YouTube itself/) is saying that creators get 45% but that's...not true. So let's talk about that:
@theJayAlto @FeedingAmerica "I can't post something if I don't care about it" - Ryan Trahan A simple, but incredibly different type of YouTube community in the making.
@AliAbdaal I've found that by owning multiple channels, it's easier to ride the lows of one specific one. So on a similar note, by not having all one's businesses rely on one channel, that'll help. I think it's inevitable when those numbers represent top of funnel for all revenue/profit.
@MsMeppy Thank you so much🥺 We always have a blast working on Charlotte's videos! (It's The 13th Warrior, btw, if our meme source is correct)
To all the creators who made it through vlogmas, we see you 👀 Tag your favorite vlogmas creator below!
Has everyone finished writing their letters to Santa? 🎅 We asked for a YouTube channel that is all about Santa's entrepreneur life, running the North Pole
Here it is - the epitome of web3 and the creator economy: a game studio funded and led by a creator, and a game built on community feedback and collaboration. Slow 👏 clap 👏

Should be taught to all at a young age
That moment when you realize creating is not about what equipment you have, but instead about doing the best you can with the resources you have ❤️
After 5 years, I've just written the last word of this book. 💃
