@Noahpinion Irreligious was the original sin after the Bolshevik revolution. Now state sanctioned religion and its attendant hatred of gays are back in full force, which is why tuck tuck and the gop are in love.
@Noahpinion I’ve been there. It didn’t seem to be the case. The lack of diversity does pay dividends. Increased trust and strong unified culture - which is the reason the west is delving into chaos right now
Have you been to Singapore, all of it? They also have an impressive central district surrounded by grim cement block tenements full of tiny, expensive apartments that people can buy. But the leases on the land are for 99-years, and there's always some older woman downstairs spying on what everyone does. Owning a car is prohibitively expensive, and it can take more than an hour to take public transit into work.

All this tedious waste of energy around whether Russia is/isn’t a good place to live. Apart from the vacuous Russophobic noise of those who have never been there, this reads like a desperate attempt to find solace elsewhere, when the battlefield news is so hopeless for neocon Zelensky-worshippers.
