@NoFlyZoneChat1 @GameStrat @1stGenCoach Depends on the gap he is blitzing and his run fit responsibility but the main thing is be physical and time it as close to perfect as you can if you are blitzing from depth. If you are showing it then be ready to take on a block
@NoFlyZoneChat1 @GameStrat @1stGenCoach A1: If we blitz a DB they are probably going to be an edge pressure, so the main key is to force any outside run back inside and to take a lane to the QBs back shoulder to make sure he stays in the pocket. “If I don’t get get, make sure someone else can” #nfzchat
@NoFlyZoneChat1 @GameStrat @1stGenCoach I always tell mine, beat a big man by making him play a “little man’s game-speed”. Edge pressure, aiming point is outside shoulder of a RB blocking don’t go beyond the QB. If no blocking RB, attack shoulder farthest from LOS. Force QB to go away from dominate throwing arm.
@NoFlyZoneChat1 @GameStrat @1stGenCoach A1: haven’t blitz a DB in 8 years that I’ve been coaching. So I’ll love to see what everyone else does.
