Americans explaining to Brits how 30C (86F) isn’t hot while living in air conditioned detached houses made of wood.
@NoContextBrits Genuine question- how common are air conditioners there?
@NoContextBrits They need A/C because they’re soft, Brits don’t because we just tough it out. Same reason why they need to wear body armour for their weird messed up version of rugby… 😁
@NoContextBrits 86F isn’t hot, because for most of us we deal with 100+ in the summer. Talk when you can cook eggs on the sidewalk
@NoContextBrits Real question why the hell would you want to live In London
@NoContextBrits I go walking in 30C/86F. I sit on the front porch sipping coffee in 30C/86F. And even then, before A/C we designed our houses for maximum airflow in the summer. Yall can either stop building homes like it's the 17th century, or just stop bellyaching.
@NoContextBrits It isn't, like, crazy hot, no. That's an average summer day, mostly.
@NoContextBrits It is fairly hot. Compared to 34C and above, not so much.
@NoContextBrits It's not that hot. Turn on a fan
