If multiple towns & boroughs, even another state, are filing lawsuits against Congestion Pricing, that should be enough to show you that the general public DOES NOT WANT IT. There are other ways to improve the subway system, taxing motorists is not the way to do it.
@NoBikeLanes Bike lanes should have been routed on less busier roads. The main avenues, parkways, etc, that have had historically busy traffic & volume should not have had bike lanes put on them. At minimum the streets reconstructed to accommodate the lanes & not take away from the volume.
What does this even mean? People who exit the FDR, enter the congestion zone quickly and exit back out (like coming off Queensboro or WillyB) will not be charged?
Only in NYC do we have a speed limit of 25 and half of the roadway taken up by bike lanes on a parkway. Creating congestion on purpose.
