Yesterday evening’s movie. I don’t care what anyone says, I loooooove this film. It did all the things for me, 😃. I don’t normally buy blue-rays anymore... unless it’s the type of atmospheric film I’ll watch over and over again. This is that. #NopeMovie
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 Looks like a Nollywood movie
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 Keke Palmer was on fire throughout, and Daniel Kaluuya’s slow burn encapsulated the tenor of the whole story. In a just world, they’ll both get Oscar nods with Kaluuya’s eyes getting a supporting actor nomination on their own.
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 Just watched it for the first time this weekend and yes it was amazing 🤩👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 I liked it. And I have so many questions! But not here; I have more respect for those who haven't seen it!
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 I loved it because, even more than his other films, this is Weird Fiction, not Horror. People expecting the latter - or those with little imagination, who need to be spoon-fed revulsion to enjoy otherworldly scares - were disappointed.
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 I loved it. Atmospheric is an excellent descriptor. And the title is *perfection* Nope.
@Nnedi @PeriwinkleChuk1 Was literally just shown this movie yesterday! What a fantastic film.
