X is full of aphorisms about how AI works (or should work), about life, health etc. What’s wild is they now live as standalone wisdom. Used to be a spark from a bigger concept. Unpopular opinion about product hunt launches. Launching on product hunt is like being a part of a dynamic billboard. Most companies focus on ending as no1 product of the day while the real benefits come from being visible in the top positions for as long as it takes that day or week.
@Unpopular_Tech Yes. Definitely the case that most teams don't really need Postman. Have you tried other alternatives like @VoidenMD or @YaakApp ? Curious to hear your thoughts.
@gaberoeloffs crazy subject. writing good docs had alway been the no1 thing in a dev tool UX strategy. I think improving the UX for any reason is for the best but it needs to be both for humans and agents (a dev tool should not assume that no human will ever read their docs)
Open source always said 'let everyone contribute.' Some worry AI is flooding projects with low-quality slop and erasing real authorship, those fears aren't crazy. Quality and credit still matter. But I tend to agree with @dhh : gatekeeping this 'real/authentic programmer' status could be a form of an insecurity wearing a "quality vigilante" mask. Let more people in, even if AI helps them. The open source movement wins when it's less exclusive, not more. #opensource #ai #claude #contributions

@KrishnaBuildsAI @Taniyatweets_ Have you tried @VoidenMD ? Since you are evaluating and checking more tools I think you will love this. Its a tool that is like obsidian in the sense that you bring everything in MD files.
No it's not. Postman is adding more and more AI features to attach enterprises. Individual devs and QA folks now have way more options if they really want to explore. For example @VoidenMD or Yaak are great alternatives that actually look at API tooling differently and far more integrated to how people already work.

Working well with AI agents means zooming out of specific tasks and looking at the broader outcome you are after. Writing code line by line? Yes, thats a specific activity that is becoming obsolete.
