Milwaukee police refused to search a school bus lot for a Black boy who was left behind for hours in freezing temperatures. They told the mom they "needed to search her house and gather more information." The family ended up searching the lot and finding the boy on their own. news.yahoo.com/milwaukee-kind…
@NikkiThaGodB1 See how they do our kids? Homeschool them and keep them safe💐
@NikkiThaGodB1 I pray that the child and their family find healing from the mental scars of this ordeal, perhaps aided by a million-dollar class action lawsuit. I also hope the bus driver faces consequences, including termination, for their dereliction of duty.
@NikkiThaGodB1 This toxic crap perpetuating racial division. Parents have certain steps they must take before they involve cops. I called and no on answered isnt it. White kids get left at the wrong bus stop, at schools or not picked up too. This is not a problem unique to black kids.
How could this even be possible? My mom worked for the city bus over 30 years. When you go to the yard to park the bus, they have to walk the entire bus before leaving, then the bus cleaners come and clean the bus. But why wouldn't there be a protocol and checking all bus sits before leaving the in the yard? And then what about the other buses and drivers, they wouldnt all come in at the exact same time, so somebody should have heard the honking. Crazy.
@NikkiThaGodB1 Search the house and gather more information, like, huh!?? The bus driver was fired, but the cop who told them this need consequences too.
@NikkiThaGodB1 Another Black kid left out in the cold
@NikkiThaGodB1 Damnit, #defundthePolice! They don't need #CopCity and more training, we need a complete reinvention and a new "class' of police!
@NikkiThaGodB1 “Save Yourself Black Man” has to start from birth
