In the last two fiscal years of my administration alone, 11,596 applicants for Concealed Weapons Licenses were found to be ineligible. Florida’s proposal would allow for those 11,596 ineligible individuals to have guns on our streets. Think about how f*cking dumb that is.

@NikkiFried This is false. If someone is ineligible currently, they are ineligible under the new law. Nothing changes. If LEO stop someone with a gun and they are not legally allowed to carry one, they face the same criminal penalties as before. The card doesn't make a difference.
@NikkiFried Nikki, go back and read the constitution. It is a MUST read for any law school graduate.
@NikkiFried It'll still be illegal for the ineligible to carry sweetheart
@NikkiFried Felons can't possess guns, so they won't be able to carry them.
@NikkiFried You’re misconstruing the question. You found they were ineligible for ccl. Not they were ineligible for firearms ownership. Should they carry? That’s up to the legislators
@NikkiFried If you are illegal to carry. Then you are carrying illegally. Which is criminal 101 for how bad guys carry guns.
@NikkiFried Not a fact whatsoever. Reread and understand your state laws.
@NikkiFried If you can’t get a permit that means you can’t pass a background check for a gun! If you plan on committing a murder you won’t care about the background check or the permit and just get a gun however possible.
@NikkiFried Are these confidential state records you are possessing ?
