Kay Ivey Governor of Alabama said she prayed for Roe to be overturned and life would prevail. The poverty rate in Alabama is 16.8 percent—more than three percent higher than the national poverty. Alabama is the fifth-least educated state. Alabama ranked nearly last in the country in healthcare. You would think Alabama would at least feed its constituents. Alabama will not be participating in a federal program that helps low-income parents pay for food for their children this summer. I guarantee Kay and the rest of the Republicans won’t be missing their meals. #DemsUnited
@LqLana From this apparently Democrats believe poor people do not deserve a chance at life. Protect unborn babies because every American, even the poor, has the right to LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
@Phil_The_Aggie @LqLana If you are in favor of banning abortion, but not providing childcare, housing, food, health insurance and everything a baby needs for 18 years, you aren't pro-life. You're pro-forced birth.
@NemeoreSunborne @Phil_The_Aggie @LqLana They lie to themselves. Once you are born, you don't count in their mind. We care for people from birth to their 120th birthday and counting upward. They car for "potential" people between minus nine month and 0. 🤷
@NemeoreSunborne @Phil_The_Aggie @LqLana What indication do you have that these things are not being provided for in our country now?
