We're excited to jump into a year of new adventures in nature. Who's with us? Let's wrap up the first week of the new year with a share of your first wildlife encounters of 2024! 📷👇
@Natures_Voice It’s been a slow and frustrating start for me. Lots of flooding and windy weather has prevented me getting out and the wildlife from showing up.. But my first project is two barn owls using the breaks in the bad weather to hunt . Happy new year everyone !
@Natures_Voice My encounters are instigated by the wildlife (when the bird feeder is empty)! I swear they'll learn to actually knock by the end of the year!
@Natures_Voice Garden birds are finding their voices but my favourite New Year bird was a kestrel at @WarrenFarmNR during Storm Henk, trying against all odds to soar. It seemed a metaphor for our fight to keep this space for wildlife.
@Natures_Voice A pair of Mute Swan on the Avlon Marshes on the Somerset Levels taken from the roadside #WildlifeEncounter
