UPDATE: After a hospital scan it is now confirmed the victim has a broken shoulder in addition to the broken nose and severe bruising. Wetherspoons should be ashamed of themselves for having people like this working as their “security” — beating up elderly customers. @NYorksPolice @NYP_Harrogate — you must act swiftly to apprehend this dangerous monster. Elderly white British pensioner brutally assaulted by Asian bouncer at Winter Gardens Wetherspoons in Harrogate. At approx 8:30pm on Saturday he was told to remove his cap, then viciously manhandled before being thrown headfirst onto the pavement outside the venue. The victim suffered a dislocated shoulder, broken nose, severe bruising and has now been hospitalised as a result. Police have been contacted. @Wetherspoons — are you happy to employ someone capable of doing this to an elderly customer? @NYorksPolice @NYP_Harrogate — will you be following this up and obtaining the CCTV of the attack? This doorman is clearly not fit to work and must be dismissed immediately.
