Almost complete long covid recovery with the use of an HIV antiretroviral. There is obviously viral persistence in a proportion of long covid cases and the denial of this fact in the medical establishment is killing people

@NateB_Panic CCR5s implicated in various (inflammatory)diseases in addition to being a co-receptor for HIV infection It is believed that ccr5 antagonists such as maraviroc will have a role in the treatment of autoimmunity & this role is currently being researched. It working doesn't solve why
@NateB_Panic Shouldn’t we all be getting treated for this? We may all have long covid to some degree, I don’t feel well but not unwell enough to be incapacitated…
@NateB_Panic I'm 14 years into CFS and have learned through bitter experience but to get my hopes up. Has there been any rigorous testing? It's not like you can just buy these things to try them...
@NateB_Panic Wow congrats and thx for sharing because we hear so few successes in treating #longcovid.
@NateB_Panic I think .. China uses those HIV drugs in early covid … could be wrong
@NateB_Panic Now an important question: is asymptomatic viral persistence that still causes damage a common or even universal effect meaning everyone who’s been infected should be taking HIV antivirals?
@NateB_Panic The big questions are what proportion and who has it.
