Spring colours on the warp at @studiodonegal Weaving is one of the oldest crafts in history, dating back some 12,000 years ago. In essence it’s still the same technique that used today & in the late 1700’s the invention of the power loom enabled textiles to be woven much quicker.

#FactFriday Did you know a flock of sheep were used in the movie Babe in 1995?🐑 The film required 550 sheep in total, with one animatronic sheep to every three real sheep! The sheep were trained to calmly remain on their marks, and so when one was called, they all followed.
