Excl: Jamaica on track to remove King Charles as head of state by 2025, state minister says. Plus, the UK is still being urged to remove visitor visa restrictions for Jamaicans. independent.co.uk/world/jamaica-…
Jamaica is currently the only country with the British monarch as head of state that requires visitor's visas to enter the UK. All Jamaican citizens are subject to the restrictions if they wish to enter the UK. No one is exempt. independent.co.uk/world/jamaica-…
@Nadine_Writes So will the Jamaican Prime Minister cease to be a member of the King's Privy Council when that happens?
@Nadine_Writes Hmm postponing freedom to 2025? house-slave thought process is interesting. - The house-slave still dreams of visiting the master's house without visa restrictions? - I'm sure the master is intrigued by this house-slave loyalty & persistence
@Nadine_Writes Bravo Jamaica, say I. Jamaica and the UK are equal nations. We should treat each other the same.
@Nadine_Writes They can't sever their last ties to us and then demand special treatment.
@Nadine_Writes @nomoremonarchs Please tell me that's not a real picture. Please.
@Nadine_Writes They should get on with it. Stop talking about it and just do it.
@Nadine_Writes I am unfamiliar with Jamaican history, but I thought they had already won their independence?
