Some players at the end of their careers blame everyone but themselves for their results. Did you work hard enough, did you put in that pain, did you come to the gym, did you dodge weights? A lot of players want things given to them but did you really deserve it.
@NSUCoachJones This gets me. I hear parents blame everyone, especially coaches & complain their child didn’t get a CALL to play at a D1 school but has an offer to play D2. Is the goal a pro career, playing on TV, or a degree? If they are good they will get seen. Very least, a free education!
@NSUCoachJones The question is, did they choose hard? Hard is fun! It makes you appreciate everything earned! It makes you rest easy! Hard work wins! Overweight is hard, being fit is hard! Being a loser is hard, becoming a winner is hard. CHOOSE HARD!
@NSUCoachJones As the saying goes, the pain of discipline is less than the pain of regret (or something like that).
@NSUCoachJones Too many athletes feel entitled. And their parents don't help the situation.
