@SingletaryM I've seen your article on the ISeries bond, and actually bought one last November. What confuses me is when they say the max per calendar year is (whatever). Do they mean from 1/1-12/31 or 1 year from the date purchased?

I need to say this out loud!!! You can not just learn a programming language, write a few programs, call yourself a programmer, and demand a crazy salary. People, please take the time and learn your craft!!! The money will come when you deserve it.

I don't think that OOP or Functional programming is appropriate in every situation. A 20-line service that's just modifying a string doesn't need either. Same with microservices. They are often "overkill." Architecture is all about making intelligent choices for a given context.
