Teachers did not party in staffrooms, they put their own lives at risk to keep the country learning. This is a disgraceful rewriting of history to distract from the Prime Minister & the Chancellor's lawbreaking. An apology must be issued to the teaching profession immediately.

Sending love to those parents who are tackling the emotional side of their children going back to school, not those who are posting “look at my beautiful child going into year X” on social media. It’s heartbreaking. I’ve never known tears and emotions like this from my girls.

@educationgovuk @educationgovuk I quote “they can play, learn and grow”...Really? Whilst ‘social distancing’? With limited resources, so no role play areas or book corners as these areas contain soft furnishings and toys? ‘Grow’? By being in an alien environment? What a load of rubbish.

@educationgovuk What about the mental health and wellbeing of young children returning to ‘school’, where everything is different to what they know school as? Potentially different adult/room/peers. For a few weeks then back home again. Pointless.

..separation anxieties and mental heath issues including wellbeing. All for a few weeks before the summer hols.Meanwhile adults in school could get Coronavirus and pass onto their loved ones and their children they’ve kept at home.People die from this.Shame on you @educationgovuk

@educationgovuk ...different classroom/environment (allocated chair/table,no role play/book corner/educational toys as resources can’t be shared).They’ve spent 2 months at home hearing of the tummy worry that is Covid 19.To then go into ‘school’ will cause...
