After a tough couple of weeks....(For many reasons)... I was sitting on the northern line 🚇...the usual sight before me-people looking at their phones with earphones 🎧 in.... silence apart from the noise of the train rolling on the tracks... Until the person sitting next to me says "hiya.... it's warm on here isn't it!?" 🥵 He's a fellow non Londoner...he asked about my job and what I do...he empathised ...he shared his understanding for how hard it is for us in education because his wife works in schools...... I ask about his job and he says "I'm the innovation director at Warburtons"..... I mean this was enough for me to completely malfunction...this has to be the best job in the world.(second to headship of course!).. For the next 10 minutes we chat away until he says.... "Are you on LinkedIn?....give me your details and I'll send your school a few bits" A few days later.... I'm informed by my office staff that there had been a delivery of 3 boxes.... The contents were... you've guessed it.... @Warburtons products.... products we gave out to our families.....some families who need this more than you can imagine! This one single act if kindness has reduced (although only for a short time) stress and worry for some about where their next meals are coming from! Thank you @Warburtons and to Darren! ❤️🍞❤️ #edux #edutwitter #RandomActsOfKindness
