looks like @amapresident @amavictoria @jilltomlinson claim to be the peak body representing Drs in Vic yet they don't want any involvement with the very thing that keeps their business alive i.e patients/ the general public. This lack of transparency is a sign to steer clear.
I'm not saying I've had unpleasant or unprofessional interactions with these people or organisations as I have not. I'm expressing that it's concerning that their organisations meet with @Ahpra on how to deal with complaint notifications and ban the public from knowing about it.
@_SharonThornton @Ahpra The problem is that ahpra is either completely ineffective or utterly overzealous and nothing in between. They seem purely motivated by the opinions of a small minority which is scary for everyone
@_SharonThornton @Ahpra This is such a great point! I’d bet you anything general practitioners get less complaints for this reason. They are community based and rightfully well respected for it
