This woman got married young, her husband (23) got into an accident and suffered brain damage. A few years later she divorced him because she wanted a family but remained his legal Guardian and caretaker. Her, her current husband and their children love and take care of him 🥺😭
He can’t feed himself, go to the toilet alone or bathe himself, he (obviously) cannot work. So she decided to still take care of him but also have a life and family of her own. It’s sad, he calls her sis, and he suffers from short term memory loss.
They met in high school and got married at 21, at 23 he got T-boned by a truck, and was in a coma, and then suffered from post traumatic amnesia, his memory was less than a minute and he never fully got out of that amnesia, they were married 5 more years till she divorced him.
Oh and his family is not really involved in his life (by choice). They basically said she can take care of him.
Also, he lives in a nursing home, but every few days they bring him home. The ex wife and her husband provide full medical care and everything in between for him
It’s been 15 years since the accident and she has been taking care of him since. She is the only person he always recognises💔
I see everybody analysing the situation from his point of view and I get it, but what would you do if you were her?
All the men saying they would rather d*e, by all means. Let your families and wives know that you want them to unalive you should you get in a coma or a similar situation and leave written directives that you want to be euthanised should you not regain full function❤️
@MphoMoalamedi People need to realize if they do not want have that quality of life if you are in an accident, that’s why you have a DNR /DNI drawn up
@MphoMoalamedi This is why people have DNRs made. This woman is obviously very, very strong of character and resolve, and I applaud her for that. However I think people don't want to accept that these things can happen to anyone, and don't plan ahead for these situations Aka the ex-husband
@MphoMoalamedi I have a firm rule that I tell all of my friends and family. If I am in a coma or whatever and am being kept alive with a bunch of tubes and plugs... I want MORE tubes and plugs! Plug me into the Pepsi machine for heaven's sake! Keep me alive!
@MphoMoalamedi There’s a case of a lady with an European ex husband that’s very similar to this one, his family is hella involved and he actually moved with them a while ago. Makes me understand that there’s more than the classic way to love and that both of these ladies are angels.
@MphoMoalamedi Okay but put your shoes in his position how would you feel if the man left you after that happened let’s be honest if this was other way around majority of women would be cussing the guy out just facts
