@MorePerfectUS Socialist independently discovers the partner framework used at many law firms and banks
@MorePerfectUS A socialist platform depending on a capitalist system to get revenue...hmmm 🤔
@MorePerfectUS A common misgiving I hear about, you know, having a democratic workplace, is that workers won't want to have to think about all of the things that go into operating a business. Pretty clearly in practice though, workers have no issue taking that responsibility on.
@MorePerfectUS "Ok team, revenues are down. Options are to cut wages by 10%, or fire Phil. Let's vote."
@MorePerfectUS Honestly it’s exhausting how people are criticizing her. More proof that no matter what steps someone takes to make life better and more equitable for others, someone doing LESS will have something to whine about and pick apart
@MorePerfectUS Yea, it's not like these kind of quasi communist views on how to run a business can't exist. They can just only exist on a tiny scale. You can't run Microsoft paying your world class dev people like janitors, or your janitors like world class dev people.
@MorePerfectUS Yeah, this is called “a small business” many CEO’s in small businesses make the same amount as their employees. Further, this is STILL capitalism. In capitalism you have the choice as to how to operate your business. In communism/socialism, you don’t have that luxury.
@MorePerfectUS Very cool. Anyone know how she does equity? Like who actually owns the company / means of production? I would be surprised if an intern got the same as her if they were to sell the business.
