During the massacre at al-Shifa Hospital, the Israeli army shot patients in their beds and doctors who refused to abandon the sick, separated people into groups with differently-colored bracelets, and executed hundreds of civil government employees. bit.ly/3TSs8WH
Mondoweiss contacted many survivors of the events at al-Shifa. Most of them refused to speak and feared exposing their identities. A few accepted under the condition of anonymity, fearing that their testimonies would make them targets by the Israeli army and that they would be subsequently killed. In light of the testimonies gathered by Mondoweiss, a different picture emerges of what happened.
@Mondoweiss The Israeli massacre of Palestinians in Gaza City’s Al-Shifa Medical Complex demonstrates that the army committed complete and self-evident war crimes and crimes against humanity. @EuroMedHR @EuroMedHRAr #gaza #genocide #CeasefireNOW #غزة euromedmonitor.org/en/article/626…
@Mondoweiss And then they called it “the most successful operation of the war”.
@Mondoweiss worst thing they did is take everyone's cameras and phones somehow
@Mondoweiss There were no civilian casualties at Shifa…
@Mondoweiss Lmao you have a problem with Israel massacreing hamas terrorists who decided to take over a hospital?
@Mondoweiss Even the software bugs are against the terrorists.
But let's not jump to conclusions here. Maybe the Israeli army had a really good reason for besieging a hospital and killing hundreds of civilians. I mean, they did say that Hamas was using the hospital as a command center, so it's totally okay to slaughter innocent people, right? And let's not forget the role of the international community in all this. They could have sent security experts to verify the Israeli allegations and prevent the massacre, but I guess they were too busy doing nothing and letting the violence escalate.
