Domestic Violence Awareness Month is coming to an end, but let's not forget this important fact year-round: When it comes to gun violence against women, the US is the most dangerous country among peer nations. #DVAM
If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-SAFE (7233), or text START to 88788 from anywhere in the U.S. #DVAM
@MomsDemand This is a conundrum of data collection limitations. What other data can we collect that doesn’t involve a police report? My wife helped two coworkers in 2 months gather belongings against crazy exs. Both were armed for the event. How many women rely on guns to face their threats
@MomsDemand Sounds like the ultimate argument for more women get trained and carry a firearm.
@MomsDemand So… you don’t want women to be able to protect themselves or shoot back?!?! Firearms are the great equalizer for women against an assailant with a size/strength advantage.
@MomsDemand Guns allow women to protect themselves from larger, stronger abusive men. You moms don't want that?
@MomsDemand Didn't you read the post put out earlier White women from urban communities are the problem
@MomsDemand @righttobeorg I was trying to get in touch to find out about the questionnaire from this study. Would you be able to point me to it / share it? Thank you! ilr.cornell.edu/worker-institu…
@MomsDemand Would you prefer they were stabbed? The fact that they were killed is the issue. Can't see the forest for the trees, huh?
@MomsDemand You think a thug living with a woman can't just as easily kill her with his bare hands, or a kitchen knife? The real problem is women hooking up with thugs.
