Ok, so are people just choosing to NOT look at the all-time/historical list of @wnba players who have been granted shoe deals? I can, with 100% certainty, say that they were NOT all white. @dawnstaley, Cynthia Cooper, @sherylswoopes22, @LisaLeslie. With that said, @_ajawilson22 should have been given a shoe deal a LONG time ago and the new age version of these brands absolutely needs to catch up to what history has demonstrated. I completely agree with that. I would LOVE to see @jewellloyd, @JackieYoung3, @athomas_25, @nnekaogwumike, @chiney all receive lucrative shoe deals. They deserve it and have for quite some time. Also didn’t @cgray209 just get a shoe with @adidas?
Nike: Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, Dawn Staley, Chamique Holdsclaw, Diana Taurasi, Elena Delle Donne, Sabrina Ionescu, & Caitlin Clarke (coming soon). Adidas: Candace Parker. Fila: Nikki McCray. Reebok: Rebecca Lobo. Puma: Breanna Stewart.
@MollyMcGrath12 @WNBA @dawnstaley @sherylswoopes22 @LisaLeslie 3 WNBA players with signature shoes: Breanna Stewart, Elena Delle Donne and Sabrina Ionescu. You may notice a pattern there.
@MollyMcGrath12 @WNBA @dawnstaley @sherylswoopes22 @LisaLeslie It's possible star A'ja Wilson will soon get her signature shoe. The fact she doesn't already have one shows a lack of respect for Black WNBA players.
