President Salva Kiir has returned home from South Africa where he met with President Cyril Ramaphosa. The visit coincided with a moment of celebration after the Bright Stars secured a historic victory against Puerto Rico in the #Olympics . Congratulations, Team South Sudan.

President Kiir officiated the inauguration ceremony of Juba National Stadium. The @FIFAWorldCup qualifier match between #SouthSudan & Sudan followed. Minister of Youth & Sports Dr. Joseph Akech, @FIFAcom Pres. Gianni Infantino & @ssfa_com Pres. Gen. Augustino Maduot were present.
During the inauguration of Juba National Stadium, President Salva Kiir urged South Sudanese to use sports for development and market the country to the world. He also reaffirmed @SouthSudanGov's commitment to consolidating peace and national unity through sports. @ssfa_com
