Former Colorado DB Cormani McClain revealed last night why he entered the Portal, and confirmed that he's NOT coming back... It all started when a speaker in a Twitter Space asked Cormani how deep was his decision to transfer, where he dropped a CRYPTIC admission 👀 🎙️ | Cormani McClain: "[On a scale of 1-10] It was an 11. It ain't on my end, it's on their end." This confirms that Cormani has no plans to take his name out of the Portal and come back to Colorado. However, it leaves a lot of questions to be answered... What exactly went down that caused Cormani to enter the Portal? Many are speculating that the program chose to move on from him 🤷♂️ Despite being a highly touted prospect, he only started a few games last season. There were also negative reports surrounding his work ethic... Regardless, Coach Prime now has 11 open scholarships heading into the Portal. Given Deion's status as the 'Portal King', expect some BIG pickups this spring 👀
@bluebloodsbias It doesn’t make any sense for P-5 programs to have 10 full time assistants and 20 off the field guys in their office and someone couldn’t get this kid right. I put this situation entirely on the coaches. If it’s not sinking in for a kid you have to make it sink it. #FindAWay
@Coach_Moore_MV @bluebloodsbias Some teams are run like the NFL. A business. And this early in NIL kids are buying it thinking they get a leg up. But they're just a number there. Coaches there aren't there to be your mentor. You have a job now. You're an employee. #BearDown
