Can Israelis and Palestinians still imagine a shared future after October 7 and the war in Gaza? Dr. Gil Murciano, CEO of Mitvim, and Palestinian peacebuilder Hiba Qasas, reflect on trauma, loss, and the difficult choice to keep working toward peace despite everything. Murciano argues that October 7 exposed not only a military failure but also the collapse of a long-term political strategy based on “managing the conflict” without offering a real political horizon. Qasas, who lost loved ones and grew up amid violence in Nablus, speaks about the need to pursue justice for the future rather than revenge for the past. Together, they present a different vision: one based on regional cooperation, shared security, political courage, and the understanding that neither Israelis nor Palestinians can achieve safety and dignity at the other’s expense. What’s really consequential is if #Palestine joins the #AbrahamAccords as a state Unfortunately, the Accords is designed to circumvent the issue rather than solve it. Secondly, threatening #Saudi for not joining the accords simply makes the Accords less appealing

If in fact as a result of these negotiations to end the Iranian conflict, our Arab and Muslim allies in the region agreed to join the Abraham Accords, it would make this agreement one of the most consequential in the history of the Middle East. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Pakistan
