people who have trouble finishing things but start things all the time... why do we do this?
@MissSassbox ADHD beloved …. The intentions are there, but the thought process is fleeting 🤷🏾♀️
@MissSassbox Our brains are not chemically “rewarded” when reaching a goal or finishing a task as “normal” brains are. So, finishing something becomes hard even if we logically understand the benefits. Super unfair frankly.
@MissSassbox Besides adhd, I think some people are hunters and some are farmers. If you’re a hunter (great at initiating things), farming (seeing it through to the end) will be hard unless you’re very focused on it like escaping poverty or an abusive situation.
@MissSassbox Please help me understand what is going on, most times I get way overwhelmed and feel like I'm going in circles, and it takes my Husband to set me straight. He gives me a starting point to accomplish one thing at a time.
@MissSassbox Maybe it’s meant for us to start it but have SOMEONE ELSE finish it
