Guess what, y’all? (and I say this with FULL sarcasm) If you want to skip the 12-24 month waitlist to get your child evaluated for autism, you can get in MUCH sooner if you skip the insurance process & pay $1K+ out of pocket! 🤗
@MissBeeBright My mom would LOL because when Jovian was 6 mos. She said hmm.. something’s not quite right and had extensive tests ran. And the state of Arizona paid for it. My mom is incredible!
@LA_andComPAiNY The State of MS is currently covering his early intervention program (speech & OT) & it’s been a great experience! Our insurance covers evaluations. But the downside is that if we continue to go through our insurance, the waitlist for the eval is too long.
@MissBeeBright Are you a letter writer? It sometimes comes down to writing in, calling waiting on hold to push those evals forward. That “listen, my child needs help, and I am a mother trying to give my child a chance in this world” it’s really all a learn as you go also.
